Ms. Andersen's Site

Hello, 

 

Welcome to my page! I'm Ms. Andersen, and I will be teaching English and Spanish at their introductory levels this year and coaching JV Cheerleading.

 

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill twice -- once with my Bachelor's degree, and then again with my Master's in Teaching for High School English. My time at Carolina gave me a base of valuable teaching skills that I try to continually build on.  

 

While in undergraduate, I majored in both English and Spanish and minored in Creative writing. I loved both English and Spanish, and wanted to be able to use both. As a result, I was so pleased when Havelock High School asked me if I'd like to teach Spanish in addition to English. 

 

I look forward to teaching at Havelock this year and getting to know the community and its students further.
